Catherine's Senior Portraits

I had such a great time today taking Catherine's senior portraits! Bangor is such a cool city with some awesome locations for portraits. Downtown Bangor is lined with old brick buildings and the Kenduskeag Stream has a beautiful trail and luckily there are still some autumn colors. These are a few of my favorites! Here's a **slideshow** of my favorites.

Becky & Mike - Engagement Session

Becky and Mike are getting married July 14, 2007 and we spent a couple of hours today at Mack's Apples in Londonderry, New Hampshire for their engagement session. It was a gorgeous day and of course was very crowded there...everyone was picking apples and choosing the perfect pumpkin for Halloween. There were plenty of places to escape the crowds and we had a great time walking the trails and exploring the area to get some pictures. I am really looking foward to their wedding which is going to be awesome!

Kristen & Trevor - 10.21.2006

Kristen & Trevor are a very artistic and creative couple and their wedding reflected that from the amazing guest book they designed with pictures of their families and their lives, to the music they selected for the reception and of course everyone received a CD of the music to take home with them. Kristen is a potter and designs the most amazing ceramic pieces which you can see on her website Kristen Kieffer Ceramics and Trevor designs furniture. It was a beautiful autumn day for their wedding at Kamaloht in East Templeton, Massachusetts. Congratulations!

Liz & Jay - 10.07.2006

What a beautiful day for Liz & Jay's wedding at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Bar Harbor, Maine. It was one of those perfect autumn days, with a bright blue sky, cool temperatures and the autumn colors brightening up the day. Although I do have to admit bright , sunny days make my job a little harder! Liz got ready at the Ledgelawn Inn, which is literally on the same block as the church. Liz has the most amazing red, curly hair and she said her hair stylist actually had to straighten her hair to curl it, which I thought was a little funny. The celebration followed at the Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor. With gorgeous views of the harbor, everyone enjoyed the afternoon celebrating the marriage of Jay and Liz. Congratulations!

Stephanie & Tony - Engagement Session

I just love engagement sessions! I had so much photographing Stephanie and Tony's engagement session. I think they were a little nervous at the beginning, but by the end they were professional models:) We spent a couple of hours at the Budweiser plant in Merrimack, NH. The Clydesdale horses are here and the grounds are beautiful, with a park and barns, which made for great pictures. They were so cute together and I loved their engagement story...after running a marathon together at Walt Disney World, Tony proposed at the finish line! I can't wait to photograph their wedding next year!

John Bapst Math Meet

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a room filled with almost 300 high school students competing in a math meet held at John Bapst High School. Brendan is a math teacher at John Bapst, as well as the Math Team coach and asked me to stop by and take some pictures of his team. It was so much fun to watch all these students have fun doing math!

Heather & Joe - 10.01.2006

Rainy day weddings are good luck for the bride and groom, so Heather & Joe should have a long and happy marriage, because it rained almost the entire day. They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Malden, Massachusetts, followed by a celebration at the Nahant Country Club. We had planned on taking pictures on the beach, unfortunately because of the rain this was not possible, but the Nahant Country Club is gorgeous. They have the most amazing bridal room which we used for some portraits. Congratulations!!!!
